The first service was first launched in June 2014 to serve members of Mothers Support Group of Lakeside Family Services, Singapore. On-the-job training that was provided had created flexible hour part time job for some of the mothers. Its second community service with the same organization involved production of dragonflies fridge magnets with a few ladies from Families-In-Transition (FiT).

This segment of The Blue Ribbon engages Peace Ambassadors, its clients and the public to serve the underserved and needy community members through innovative community service. Slightly more than 100 students from high learning institutions in Singapore have volunteered with TBR’ community project with Lakeside Family Services centre.

Today, its community service has spread to Indonesia and Malaysia. Peace Ambassadors team from BBA Indonesia, for example, plans for four community services per year. In Singapore, youths are also given the opportunity to serve those with needs abroad.
